Michael came to Marian in 2009 as the Business Manager with a diverse background in
industry, development, school administration and teaching, having spent much of the immediately preceding 15 years living in Tanzania.
Michael has two teenage daughters who are the centre of his life outside of his work, helping to keep him in touch with the culture and challenges of being a young person in today’s world. Passionate about sport both as a player and watcher, Michael has retired to the more gentile sports of tennis and golf in recent years after having played Aussie Rules and cricket in his younger years.
Michael’s main accomplishment in his time at Marian has been in overseeing the successful completion of the numerous building and landscaping projects that have created an appealing and safe environment for students and staff to come into. Playing his administrative role in providing an affordable and quality physical environment that welcomes all remains central to his motivation and focus.
